As mobile visits begin to dominate websites' traffic, Google is seeking to improve the loading time of websites even further.

We've known for years that if your website is slow to load - Google demotes you in the rankings. They want to promote fast-loading ie easily accessible websites - which makes a great deal of sense.

However we could be about to enter a new era, taking this to a another level with ...

Accelarated Mobile Pages - which allow content to be streamlined to be simplified from slower loading cumbersome HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

This results in a stripped down page which includes only the most vital content (text, images & videos) and such websites can benefit from speed improvements of up to 85%.

Still in the testing stage - Google may be rolling this out this update very soon.
